Who counts as confirmed
This guide includes characters Rockstar currently names and profiles on its official GTA VI People & Places page. A face in a trailer can be real without having a published identity, and a fan nickname can become popular without becoming official. PatchCrest does not add either category to a confirmed cast list.
The profiles are concise and intentionally incomplete. They establish histories, occupations, ambitions and selected connections, not a full narrative. Editorial context below explains how those facts position each character in the known world, while avoiding claims about mission order, allegiance, survival or playability.
Jason Duval
Jason grew up around grifters and criminals, later spent time in the Army, and now works around local drug runners in the Leonida Keys. Rockstar says he has wanted an easy life, but his choices keep him close to danger. Brian Heder gives him a place to stay in exchange for work, while Cal Hampton is identified as a friend.
Meeting Lucia may be the best or worst thing that has happened to Jason, in Rockstar's framing. That line defines the magnitude of the relationship without settling its result. It does not establish that he betrays her, rescues her or dies for her. His military branch, rank and reason for leaving also remain unpublished.
Editorially, Jason functions as a bridge into the Keys network. He has shelter, contacts and exposure to illicit work before the larger conspiracy begins. That makes him situated rather than anonymous, but Rockstar has not described him as the leader of the pair or assigned him a unique gameplay specialty.
Lucia Caminos
Lucia learned to fight from her father. Rockstar says fighting for her family led to incarceration in Leonida Penitentiary, and that luck helped her get out. The official material does not give the charge, sentence length or precise circumstances of release. It does establish that prison is part of her history rather than merely a fan interpretation of the first trailer.
Her ambition reaches back to the better life her mother imagined after coming from Liberty City. Lucia believes that life requires a plan and is committed to making it happen. The Liberty City reference belongs to her family history; it does not confirm that the city appears as a playable GTA VI location.
Lucia gives the central partnership an explicitly forward-looking motive. PatchCrest reads the profile as evidence of resolve, not a license to invent ruthlessness, secret loyalties or the plan's outcome. Rockstar has not disclosed whether she meets Jason before or after every prison scene shown in official marketing.
Cal Hampton
Cal Hampton is Jason's friend and an associate of Brian Heder. Rockstar describes him as most comfortable at home, including time spent monitoring Coast Guard communications. The profile gives Cal access to information and a preference for distance from the action, but does not name him as a hacker, mission controller or playable character.
His presence expands Jason's world beyond straightforward muscle. A communications-focused friend can create advance warning, paranoia or comic contrast in a criminal network. Those are possible narrative uses, not confirmed assignments. Rockstar has not said whether Cal participates in the failed score or how he relates to Lucia.
The official media library includes dedicated Cal footage and images. Those assets verify that Rockstar considers him part of the introduced cast. They do not reveal the length of his role, and PatchCrest does not treat downloadable availability as blanket permission to republish the media commercially.
Brian Heder
Brian Heder is a veteran smuggler from an earlier era who still moves product through a boat yard with his third wife, Lori. Jason lives on Brian's property without paying rent in exchange for helping with local shakedowns. That arrangement combines shelter, obligation and criminal work in one confirmed relationship.
Brian's boat yard places him naturally within the geography of the Leonida Keys, where water and informal commerce define much of Rockstar's setting description. His experience may make him a source of work or pressure, but the profile does not formally label him a mentor, employer or antagonist.
Lori is mentioned in Brian's official biography but does not currently have a separate profile. PatchCrest therefore notes her as a named connection rather than expanding her into a major-character entry with an invented background. The same rule applies to other people visible but not identified by Rockstar.
Boobie Ike
Boobie Ike is a Vice City figure whose current interests include real estate, a strip club and a recording studio. Rockstar presents him as someone who turned street success into a broader business position. His partnership with Dre'Quan Priest around Only Raw Records connects property, nightlife and music within the official cast.
The range of holdings matters because it gives Boobie influence in more than one social space. It does not confirm that players can purchase those businesses, manage the label or use the studio as a recurring activity. The profile establishes his portfolio, while gameplay functions remain unstated.
PatchCrest reads Boobie as an example of status built from local reputation and converted into institutions. That makes him a plausible point of access to Vice City's power networks. Rockstar has not said whether he works directly with Jason and Lucia, opposes them or stays focused on the music story.
Dre'Quan Priest
Dre'Quan Priest is an aspiring music mogul who once spent more time hustling than running a business. Rockstar says his focus is now Only Raw Records, the label he is building with support from Boobie Ike. Signing Real Dimez gives that ambition a concrete artist relationship rather than leaving it as background flavor.
His profile sits at the intersection of creative work and the street economy that shaped him. That history can create tension between legitimacy, reputation and profit, but Rockstar has not published the details of his contracts, finances or criminal involvement. PatchCrest avoids assigning him schemes not present in the official record.
Dre'Quan's presence also demonstrates that GTA VI's named cast is not limited to robbers. Rockstar is building a recognizable industry network inside Vice City. Whether the player records music, runs a label or merely encounters the business through story missions has not been announced.
Real Dimez: Bae-Luxe and Roxy
Real Dimez is the rap duo of Bae-Luxe and Roxy, friends since high school who turned clever tracks and an active social presence into attention. Rockstar says they had an earlier hit with local rapper DWNPLY and are now signed to Dre'Quan's Only Raw Records. Both women should be named when the act is discussed.
The duo's public-facing experience gives the Vice City cast a direct relationship with fame and audience. Social media is part of their biography, but it does not by itself confirm a playable influencer system or reveal how in-game media operates. Their official clip and artwork establish visual identity, not the complete scope of their role.
Real Dimez connects Dre'Quan's ambition to an existing creative career. Their previous success means the label story begins with momentum as well as aspiration. Rockstar has not published song lyrics, a full discography or character outcomes, and PatchCrest will not reproduce copyrighted lyrics in future music coverage.
Raul Bautista
Raul Bautista is a seasoned bank robber who looks for talent prepared to accept the risks that accompany bigger rewards. Rockstar's profile presents him as experienced, confident and inclined to raise the stakes. It does not identify a specific bank, crew roster or job sequence.
Among the introduced cast, Raul is the clearest published connection to professional robbery. That positions him near the criminal escalation implied by the central synopsis, but it does not confirm that he planned the score that goes wrong. A reasonable association should remain analysis until Rockstar makes the link directly.
Rockstar has not described Raul as playable, named him the primary antagonist or revealed whether he survives. Visual intensity and genre familiarity are not substitutes for a published role. His confirmed record is narrower and more useful: an experienced robber who recruits for higher-risk work.
How the confirmed cast connects
| Character | Confirmed connection | What remains open |
|---|---|---|
| Jason | Lucia; Cal; Brian | Complete story arc and playable rules |
| Lucia | Jason; family history | Release details and full plan |
| Cal | Jason; Brian | Role in the central conspiracy |
| Brian | Jason; Lori | Extent of smuggling-story involvement |
| Boobie | Dre'Quan; Only Raw | Relationship with the protagonists |
| Dre'Quan | Boobie; Real Dimez | Playable music-business functions |
| Real Dimez | Dre'Quan; DWNPLY | Full narrative role |
| Raul | Prospective robbery talent | Specific crew and jobs |
The current cast forms three visible clusters: Jason's Keys circle, the central Jason-and-Lucia partnership, and Vice City's business and music network, with Raul representing a route into more ambitious robbery. Rockstar has not yet published the event that joins every cluster. Treating the gap as open is more accurate than manufacturing a master diagram from trailer cuts.
People and roles not yet confirmed
Many people appear in trailers and official screenshots without individual profiles. They may have names and important roles in the finished game, but a visual appearance alone does not provide either. PatchCrest will add a character only when Rockstar identifies that person in a primary source.
- A complete protagonist-control and character-switching system.
- A final antagonist or full mission-giver roster.
- Fan names attached to unidentified trailer characters.
- Rumored returning characters from earlier Grand Theft Auto games.
- Leaked casting, actor or plot claims not acknowledged by Rockstar.
- The fate, loyalty or playable status of any profiled supporting character.
This guide is designed to grow with the official record. A future Rockstar profile can be added with its source and update date, while old claims remain traceable through the ledger. Until that happens, the introduced cast already shows a deliberate range: two leads under pressure, an established coastal network, creative ambition inside Vice City and a robber promising higher stakes.
A profile's absence is not evidence that a visible person is unimportant. Rockstar may be withholding a name because the role is minor, because a reveal would spoil the story, or simply because the current campaign highlights a selected group. PatchCrest records the absence without choosing among those explanations.
Character relationships also require direct language. Two people appearing in the same montage are not necessarily allies, and a business shown near a character does not prove ownership. The connections table above uses only relationships Rockstar states: friendship, housing, partnership, signing, marriage or recruitment context. Everything else waits for stronger evidence.
Voice and performance credits deserve the same discipline. A resemblance, an anonymous résumé or a fan comparison is not an official cast announcement. When Rockstar or an authorized credit source identifies performers, PatchCrest can add them with attribution; until then, this page covers the fictional characters rather than speculating about unconfirmed talent.
The cast list should therefore be read as a current launch reference, not a declaration that only these people matter. It answers who Rockstar has introduced, how their published networks fit together and where the unknowns begin. That scope keeps the guide useful without spoiling or manufacturing a story Rockstar has deliberately kept incomplete.
