COOKIES

This page explains the cookies, consent signals and similar technologies used to deliver PatchCrest and measure site use.

What cookies and local storage are

Cookies are small pieces of data a website or service may save in a browser. Local storage is a related browser feature that can retain limited information on a device. These technologies may support security, remember a functional preference or help an embedded service operate.

Essential site technology

PatchCrest’s hosting platform may process standard request, browser and device information and use essential technologies needed to deliver pages securely, prevent abuse and maintain the service. The site’s rotating in-house promotions use page state only and do not create an advertising profile.

Google consent choices

For eligible visitors, Google’s consent management platform records and communicates choices for analytics and advertising-related purposes. The Google message allows visitors to consent, decline or manage options. These consent signals help Google services respect the selection made.

Google Analytics

PatchCrest uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site and audience activity where permitted. Google Analytics commonly uses identifiers such as _ga and a property-specific _ga_<container> cookie when Analytics storage is allowed. Names, behavior and retention can vary according to Google’s current configuration and consent state.

For visitors in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Analytics storage is denied before a consent choice and is enabled only when the applicable Google consent flow communicates permission. Outside those regions, Analytics storage is permitted under PatchCrest’s current measurement configuration, while advertising-related storage and data remain disabled during this pre-advertising phase.

Kit newsletter

The newsletter form is provided through Kit. The Kit script is loaded only on the PatchCrest homepage, where the form appears. If you submit the form, your email address and relevant technical information are sent to Kit to process the subscription and double opt-in confirmation. Kit may use cookies or similar technologies according to its own service and privacy practices.

Advertising status

PatchCrest is preparing for Google AdSense. Google publisher infrastructure may load on normal content pages to deliver the Google consent message and support site connection or verification. PatchCrest is not claiming AdSense approval and has not activated ad units. Advertising cookies are therefore not described here as currently active advertising inventory.

Managing browser settings

Most browsers let you review, block or delete cookies and site data. Blocking technologies that are strictly necessary for hosting, security or a service you choose to use may affect that feature. Browser help documentation explains the controls available for each device.
