PRIVACY POLICY
This policy explains the information PatchCrest processes through site delivery, audience measurement, consent choices and voluntary newsletter subscriptions.

Information collected
PatchCrest collects an email address when a visitor voluntarily subscribes to the newsletter. The website and its service providers may also process standard technical and measurement information, such as page interactions, request data, device and browser information, to deliver the site securely and understand audience use.
Google Analytics
PatchCrest uses Google Analytics 4 for audience and site measurement on applicable PatchCrest properties. Google Analytics may process page interactions, device and browser information, approximate location derived from network information, and related measurement data.
Where applicable, Analytics storage is controlled by the visitor’s consent choices. For visitors in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google’s consent management platform communicates the visitor’s choice to Google services through Consent Mode.
Google consent management
PatchCrest uses Google’s consent management solution through AdSense Privacy & messaging for relevant privacy choices. Eligible visitors may consent, decline or manage their choices through the Google message. Available Google consent controls can also be used to revisit privacy choices when Google makes them available on the site.
Newsletter subscriptions
The PatchCrest newsletter uses Kit as its email service provider. Subscription information is sent to Kit and processed through a double opt-in confirmation flow. It is used to manage subscriptions and deliver PatchCrest editorial updates.
You may unsubscribe using the link included in a newsletter email. Removing yourself from marketing emails does not necessarily erase records that a service provider must retain for suppression, security or compliance purposes.
Service providers
PatchCrest relies on service providers to host the website, measure site use, manage relevant privacy choices and operate the newsletter. Those providers may process limited information to deliver their services, prevent abuse and maintain security. Google and Kit apply their own terms and privacy practices to information they process.
Google publisher services
PatchCrest may use Google publisher infrastructure for privacy messaging, site verification and, where enabled, advertising-related services. Google may process technical information in connection with those services under its own terms and privacy practices. Advertising is not currently enabled on PatchCrest TV.

PatchCrest TV
PatchCrest TV, including tv.patchcrest.com, is part of the PatchCrest services covered by this Privacy Policy. PatchCrest TV does not currently require a viewer account or payment to watch available content.
PatchCrest TV uses Mux for video delivery and playback infrastructure. When you watch, Mux may process technical playback information to provide, secure, measure and improve video delivery. Depending on the player and configuration, this may include an IP address, coarse location derived from IP, browser and device information, anonymous viewer or session identifiers, video and viewing metadata, and playback-performance or quality-of-experience information. PatchCrest TV does not intentionally send viewer names or email addresses to Mux for video playback. Mux applies its own privacy practices to information it processes; see Mux’s Privacy Policy.
Continue Watching and resume functionality store playback progress locally in your browser or device. This progress is not linked to a PatchCrest TV viewer account. You can remove it by clearing the relevant browser or site data. This local-storage description applies to PatchCrest TV’s resume state, not to information processed by Mux or other delivery infrastructure.
PatchCrest TV does not currently use Google Analytics 4 or serve advertising. Analytics and consent technologies described elsewhere in this policy may apply to other PatchCrest properties. Mux operational and video-playback analytics may still occur as described above. If PatchCrest TV’s material tracking or advertising practices change, this policy or applicable notices will be updated.
Your choices and privacy questions
You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. For access, correction, deletion or another privacy question, email contact@patchcrest.com and include enough information for PatchCrest to understand and respond to the request.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when PatchCrest introduces new services or when its practices change. The date shown at the top identifies the latest published version.
