A run has a failure state
In its Xbox Wire developer explanation, Fuse describes tours built around vehicle selection, a Racer Style and upgrades between races. Some events limit crashes. Exhausting that allowance can wreck the vehicle and force a restart; a failed high-stakes event can also cost a League Token.
A lost tour does not erase every upgrade
Fuse separates temporary vehicle statistics and installed parts from permanent progression. Permanent vehicle upgrades, upgraded Racer Styles and unlocked pools of parts or favors can change later attempts. Multiplayer uses a shorter tour structure ending in a knockout event.
Confirmed Xbox access, without assuming other entitlements
The October 6 post confirms availability on Xbox Series X|S. The US Xbox Store lists the base game at $59.99 and Deluxe at $79.99; its bundle listing includes a $19.99 Deluxe Upgrade. These are purchase options, not proof of subscription-library inclusion.
The store lists single-player and online multiplayer for 2–12 players. Online console multiplayer requires Game Pass Essential, Premium or Ultimate, sold separately. That subscription requirement is separate from buying the game.
The store still displays preorder promotional wording. Because the developer now confirms launch, do not assume those bonuses remain available for a new purchase. This report establishes the Xbox launch and systems described by Fuse, not a cross-platform launch audit or a performance verdict.
