Two quests expand Night City without requiring the anime
Clampdown is a new side quest set before Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2. It becomes eligible after The Heist and two Wakako gigs, followed by an in-game message. The quest can reward a five-piece gear set based on King. A new HKGN 102.0 FM station also carries music from the Edgerunners series.
Welcome to Paradise is separate. It unlocks after The Heist and 15 Street Cred, then sends V on a guided tour narrated by Richard Night. Twelve new Minor Arcana tarot cards extend Fool on the Hill and have their own collection reward.
Dual wielding is a perk path, not a universal weapon option
The new Double Trouble perk sits in the Cool tree with four supporting perks. It enables dual wielding for Power-category pistols and revolvers; the official notes do not describe dual wielding for every handgun class.
Five Glamdocs now customize the appearance and colors of equipped Mantis Blades, Gorilla Arms, Monowire and the Projectile Launch System. Update 2.5 also adds hairstyles, clothing sets, Photo Mode poses and card-style frames.
Cross-platform mods arrive through an in-game mod.io catalogue
Update 2.5 adds an in-game browser for supported community-created mods on PC, Mac, PS5, PS5 Pro, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. CD Projekt Red calls this a first step and says more mods will become available over time.
Cross-platform support does not mean every existing PC mod will work on every device. The official description is limited to the curated content exposed through the integrated catalogue.
Save grouping, console FOV and graphics updates round out the patch
The Load Game menu now groups saves by playthrough, apartment and vehicle stashes gain filters, and consoles receive an FOV slider. Graphics changes include DLSS 4.5 support, revised AMD FSR options, MetalFX Frame Interpolation and performance work for ray tracing and PS5 Pro.
Xbox's official release briefing separately says Cyberpunk 2077 now supports Xbox Play Anywhere, pairing a digital purchase across Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC with save transfer. That platform entitlement is distinct from Update 2.5's cross-platform mod feature.
